Olive Branch Sponge Duo

A beautiful two-piece coordinating sponge set, featuring two different arrangements of olives, flowing branches and leaves. Use the two designs separately or combine them to create borders, repeating patterns and larger botanical designs.

The complete large sponge measures 10cm in diameter and is divided into two 5cm sections. The olive branch designs measure approximately 7cm from tip to tip on one sponge and 8cm on the other.

Each Sponge-It design is originally designed by Rachel Byass and manufactured in the UK from high-density sponge using precision laser cutting.

Once laser cut, every sponge is individually plucked and finished by hand to reveal the intricate design. Some of the smaller areas even have to be carefully removed using tweezers. It’s a painstaking process that takes time and care, but produces the beautifully detailed sponge ready for you to use.

Although originally designed for decorating ceramics, these versatile sponges can be used with virtually any suitable paint medium on a wide variety of craft surfaces, including pottery, wood, walls and fabric. Simply choose the appropriate paint or colour for your project.

How to use: Lightly dampen the sponge, apply your colour to the design using your finger, then press gently onto your chosen surface. Build and repeat the two olive branches to create your own individual arrangement.
