Once you have bought your Pottery Wheel Experience voucher below, the E-commerce shop sends you an automatically generated voucher by return email, if you pay by card or pay pal.
Suitable for Adults and children from 12 years and above
We will have from 1 to 5 guests on the wheels, booking weekends mainly between 10 am and 4 pm ( so you can book alone or with friends but there could be up to 5 on the wheels at any time)
TO BOOK
Once you have your voucher and are ready to book simply email us with the voucher details and the date you want to come which you will find on this page, all the available dates for 2 4 and 6 hours. Note as we are a team of 3, Rachel, Liz and Cath we only take email booking but happy for you to call for information. You will need to keep the voucher also to bring with you on your date.
The well-equipped studio has 5 static wheels.
Our most senior potter was 95 years old and it had been on her bucket list for 50 years and the youngest was Rachel grandson who has been throwing since the age of 4.
Should you want a midweek 2 or 4 hour experience private with you own group of a minimum of 5 that can be arranged. Also a 2 hour evening event can be arranged again a minimum of 5

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
Rachel has been teaching the wheel for over 35 years. Rachel also makes, teaching pottery, ceramics and decorative art for 38 years.
Rachel has a real passion for it no matter how young or old you are. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Rachel as appeared on Tv 5 times most recent December the 5th 2022 channel 5 winter on the farm where she challenged the farmers and vets to a wheel throwing competition.
On all the below experiences you make 1 to 4 pots depending on which one you book and in all cases you can paint your pot the same day. Alternatively you can have them dipped in a pretty stoneware glaze at a additional cost of £5 per pot.
Alternatively book a painting session within a month of making it for up to 2 hours free of charge on Saturdays or Sunday only.
The pot/pots will then be fired to bisque then re fired to glaze temperatures making them food safe and functional.
They are then ready for you to pick up within approximately 14 days.
