Description
A 9th Wedding anniversary is ‘pottery’, so this is the perfect half day for you to celebrate just you and your other half and have your very own pottery throw down with cream tea and home made scones .
This special event is also great for any couple or friends wishing to spend special time together for any occasion, not just an anniversary.
This is a 4-hour experience. It will take place between 1pm until 5pm on a mutually agreed date. (please note this event is Mon to Fri only)
WHAT DOES THIS INCLUDE for 2x people
- 4 hours on the wheel, on your own wheel making up to 2 to 3 pots each.
- The £280 price includes two people
- Demonstration from Rachel.
- Full tuition on making your own pot such as a bowl, vase, plant pot, pen pot, carafe.
- Time to paint your pottery.
- Cream tea of home-made scones, home made jam and cream with tea or coffee. (unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any special dietary needs)
Your pots are then fired to bisque. They are then glazed and have a second firing to make them functional and ready to collect within around 4 weeks to allow for drying time and firing.
CUSTOMER REVIEW 16th AUGUST 2023
Hi Rachel
I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful experience today.
The workshop was fantastic and we all felt very proud of our creations. It will be lovely to see the finished products once firing and glazing processes are completed.
Your scones are absolutely delicious and light as a feather, would love the recipe.
Thank you once again for your patience and encouragement throughout the day.

What a great afternoon we had!
I am very impatient and get frustrated quickly if I can’t do something immediately and expected to be throwing clay at the wall, but the patience shown and clear instruction and demonstration (with a bit of necessary intervention!) by Rachael made it a stress free and enjoyable experience.
I can’t recommend highly enough this option, Rachael made us feel at ease and at home immediately and by the end of the session we felt like we’d known her for years!
thank you your pots are in the kiln today but will be glazed when i get home see you soon
