Olive Branch Sponge Quartet

A beautiful four-piece coordinating sponge set, featuring four different olive-inspired designs with a lovely mixture of olives, branches and leaves. Each section has its own individual arrangement, allowing you to mix and match the designs to create anything from a simple motif to a larger Mediterranean-style pattern.

The complete large sponge measures 10cm in diameter and is divided into four individual 5cm sections. Each olive design measures approximately 5cm from tip to tip.

Each Sponge-It design is originally designed by Rachel Byass and manufactured in Britain from high-density sponge using precision laser cutting.

Once laser cut, every sponge is individually finished and plucked by hand. The small and intricate areas sometimes need to be carefully removed using tweezers. This painstaking process takes time and care, revealing all the detail within the finished design.

Although we love using our sponges on ceramics, they can be used on almost any craft surface. Simply change the medium to suit your project. Use them with underglazes on pottery, acrylic paints on wood or walls, fabric and T-shirt paints, and many other suitable craft paints.

How to use: Lightly dampen the sponge, apply your colour to the design using your finger, then gently press onto your chosen surface.

Use one design on its own or combine all four to create your own unique olive arrangements.
