Description
A fun and versatile large Sponge Duo, featuring seven birthday candles on one half and a string of bunting on the other. Designed to work beautifully together, they are perfect for creating personalised birthday plates, celebration pottery and anniversary pieces for children and adults alike.
The complete large sponge measures 10cm in diameter and is designed to be cut into two separate sections. The row of bunting measures approximately 9cm, while the candle design measures approximately 7.5cm across. Each individual candle is approximately 4cm long, and each bunting flag measures approximately 1cm.
Use the candles to mark a special birthday, add names and ages, or combine them with the bunting to create a complete celebration design. The two sponges can also be used separately and mixed with other Sponge-It designs.
Each Sponge-It design is originally designed by Rachel Byass and manufactured in the UK from high-density sponge using precision laser cutting. Every sponge is then individually plucked and finished by hand, so you may see the little variations that come with a genuinely hand-finished product.
Although created with pottery painting in mind, these sponges are wonderfully versatile. Simply change the medium and use them with underglazes, acrylics, fabric and T-shirt paints on ceramics, wood, walls, fabric and many other craft surfaces.
How to use: Lightly dampen the sponge, apply your colour to the raised design using your finger, then press gently onto your chosen surface.
