The perfect half day experience for up to 5 guests as we have 5 wheels. The perfect gift to yourself and your family.
Time of the session will be 10 am till 2 pm
Feel free to bring a snack as we will have a short break. Coffee and Tea are free on the day.
Your visit includes Rachel demonstrating how to throw a pot and then you will make your own. The average guest makes 2 to 3 pots such as a bowl, vase, plant pot. You can also paint them on the day with a choice of 18 underglazes and you can use some of our tools.
You will have a choice of 140 designs of decorating sponges as well as lots of tools and gadgets to make a great pot.
If you don’t want to paint on the day you can come back at an additional charge.
Your pot will be fired to bisque then glazed and fired again this can take up to 4 weeks to complete due to the drying process.
We had a great time at Rachel’s 2 hour pottery workshop and the bowl and vases we created were great. I think we all surprised ourselves. It was great to see the finished creations after they had been fired. It was a great experience. Rachel is so friendly and patient and made us feel at ease. Thank you.
